As a member of the firm’s business transactions, real estate and employment law practice groups, Mr. Jones has broad experience in all phases of corporate, real estate, finance, and business law.

Mr. Jones represents clients in business planning, entity formation, governance and dissolution of corporations, limited liability companies, partnerships, strategic alliances, and other business entities and arrangements, and in mergers, acquisitions, reorganizations, purchases and sales of numerous types of businesses and business entities. He advises employers and executives in employment, consulting, compensation and severance matters. Mr. Jones also represents clients in license, franchise and distributorship arrangements, and in a wide variety of other commercial transactions.

Mr. Jones advises and represents landowners, home builders, developers, property managers, and commercial landlords and tenants in a wide range of real estate acquisition, development, management, sale and leasing transactions involving commercial, industrial, residential, mixed-use, healthcare and unimproved properties, as well as real estate owned by financial institutions and governmental entities. He also represents public and private lenders and borrowers in all phases of secured and unsecured lending.

Mr. Jones is a member of the Housing Committee of the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce and serves on the Membership Committee for the San Diego Chapter of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP). He is a member of the California State Bar’s Real Property and Business Law Sections, the San Diego County Bar Association’s Real Property and Business & Corporate Law Sections and serves on its Business & Corporate Law Section Advisory Board. He is a frequent speaker to business, professional and service groups on a variety of business and real estate law topics.
